Il parco è composto da tre itinerari e rappresenta una parte del sistema fortificato che sovrasta le colline di Monfalcone. I primi due comprendono il sistema trincerato sito sulla sommità di Quota 121, che fino all’agosto 1916 era la cima più alta dello schieramento austro-ungarico tra la Valle di Pietrarossa e il mare. Il terzo itinerario è costituito dalla Trincea Joffre, importante linea trincerata costruita e rinforzata dagli italiani; all’interno si trova la Grotta Vergine, cavità naturale scoperta casualmente dai soldati italiani.

The park consists of three itineraries and represents a part of the fortified system overlooking the hills of Monfalcone. The first two comprise the lines of trenches located on the top of Quota 121, which until August 1916 was the highest peak of the Austro-Hungarian deployment between Pietrarossa Valley and the sea. The third itinerary consists of the Joffre Trench, an important line of trenches built and reinforced by the Italians; inside it, there is the Grotta Vergine cave, a natural cavity accidentally discovered by Italian soldiers.
