E’ il sito in cui si trova la tomba rivestita di lastre marmoree dei Martiri Canziani, ove sorge la basilica edificata in loro memoria. Attorno alla prima età imperiale sorgeva in loco una villa romana di rara bellezza, appartenente alla famiglia dei Canzi -proprietari terrieri- che spiega la ragione della sepoltura dei Martiri in questo sito.

In this site is located the tomb of the Martyrs Canziani, covered with marble slabs, and here stands also the basilica built in their memory. In earlier times, around the first Imperial age, there was a Roman villa of rare beauty belonging to the Canzi family who had properties in the area, which explains the reason for the burial of the Martyrs on this site.
