La villa risale al 1770 e fu costruita per volontà di Raimondo IX della Torre. Di forme tipicamente palladiane, la villa è situata sul pendio di una collina carsica ed è circondata da un incantevole parco. Nonostante i bombardamenti subiti durante la Grande Guerra nel 1915-1918, la villa si presenta oggi ben conservata. Nel salone nobile, al primo piano, sono conservati pregevoli affreschi, mentre nelle stanze al pian terreno si possono ancora vedere le scritte lasciate dai soldati, quando nel 1915 l’edificio funse da ospedale da campo.

The villa dates back to 1770 and was built by the will of Raymond IX della Torre. It is located on the slope of a karst hill, surrounded by an enchanting park and its shape is typically Palladian. Despite the world war 1 bombings, the villa is now well preserved. In the noble hall, on the first floor, valuable frescoes are preserved, while in the rooms on the ground floor you can still see the writings left by the soldiers when in 1915 the building served as a field hospital.
